Life is complex, but celebrity is not. Either you are A-List and make millions, or you are struggling to get there. Sometimes you hit A-List and stay awhile and then slowly fall back. Sometimes you plummet from the A-List like a comet falling to earth in a disaster movie. The tricky part is celebrities who think they are A-List, but have actually fallen to B,C,D or (OMG) Z-List (Jessica Simpson ANYONE!!!).
D-Listers have only one hope. A reality TV show on an abscure cable network. Z-Listers can't even get that. The most they can hope for is personal appearances at overpriced nightclubs around the world. The Z-List is inescapable. The only one who ever escaped was Drew Barrymore and only God understands how she pulled that off with such minimal brains and talent. The success of DB is a mystery greater than Stonehenge.
